La Città Metafisica

"La Città Metafisica" is a desktop VR experience designed to immerse yourself completely in the artistic world of Giorgio De Chirico and to observe the paintings from the same perspective as the painter.

A mysterious disappearance, a studio full of empty frames, and a brave adventurer ready to save the day.

Will you be the one who embraces the mission? Will you be the defender of DeChirico’s art?

Visit the Metaphysical city and discover the places where the artist painted the artworks. Chat with Ettore, Andromaca and other mannequins, use your knowledge and achieve the goal.

Great honor is yet to come for who will bring back the paintings to the studio.

The logo is the graphic synthesis of the iconic shapes and colors of De Chirico's paintings.
It is composed by the train and some silhouettes that refer to the buildings found in many of his paintings and the green ball shown in the famous frame "Canto d'Amore".

This VR experience has been developed for the Virtual Reality course of the Polytechnic  University of Turin, 2020/2021
